A medico-legal evaluation includes an interview, a detailed evaluation of physical, cognitive as well as mental health components to determine the person’s functional capacity. The results of the evaluation are used to compile a comprehensive report that can be used during legal proceedings to report on the impact of the injuries, including the effect of pain and impairments on an individual’s ability to participate in work activities, leisure activities and activities of daily living.
The Medico-legal report is a comprehensive, yet concise report, that focuses on addressing the question of whether or not the injuries sustained has hampered the person’s functional capacity, amenities of life, future vocational ability and if social circumstances were permanently affected as a result of the injuries sustained.
